These terms often overlap, but each has a unique role within Christian leadership and personal growth.

🧭 Coaching
Focuses on helping someone reach specific goals through guidance, reflection, and accountability. Coaches may not be subject-matter experts, but they ask the right questions to help you move forward.
🔹 Example: Helping someone discern their ministry calling.

🤝 Mentoring
Centers on a trusted, often longer-term relationship. A mentor shares wisdom from experience and offers spiritual support and encouragement.
🔹 Example: Walking alongside a younger Christian in faith and life.

📖 Teaching

Provides structured instruction on biblical or ministry topics. Teachers often explain Scripture or theology in ways that are practical and clear.
🔹 Example: Leading a Bible study series or online course.

All three roles matter. Many leaders do a bit of each — but knowing the difference helps you serve others more intentionally.
